Fortunately, there’s even a method to export your PlayStation 4 save file to the remastered version of PlayStation 5, so you can pick up where you left off – all thanks to a recent update from the developers, Insomniac Games. . Here’s how to do it.
To be eligible, you must own a copy of the original 2018 version of the game, as well as the new remastered version of the PS5. Then follow these steps:
- Update every copy of the game on PS4 and PS5 to the latest versions as needed.
- In Spider-Man on PS4, activate the R1 button in the main menu to upload your saved data file to the cloud.
- In Spider-Man Remastered on PS5, activate the R1 button in the main menu to download your save data from the cloud – it’s that easy.
